El Prat de Llobregat

Located in the heart of the Llobregat Delta, El Prat is a heterogeneous territory that will surprise visitors with its valuable biodiversity. The last 8 km of the river run through the municipality and give us spaces for leisure and enjoyment of nature such as the Camí del Sorral and the Parc del Riu. At the mouth, the Delta Natural Areas make up a very important nature reserve that houses several wetlands where you can observe the richness of the Delta fauna and flora. Walking through the Natural Spaces we can also discover an important historical heritage, such as the Semàfor and Carrabiners Buildings, and architectural heritage, such as the Gomis House, declared a Cultural Asset of National Interest in 2021.

The town hall - a neo-Gothic building from 1905 -, the Municipal Market, the Modern Theatre, the Muntadas Tower and the Balcells Tower are other attractions of the municipality. El Prat de Llobregat stands out for its wide gastronomic offer based on local products, such as the Prat Artichoke and the Pota Blava chicken (recognized by the Protected Geographical Indication seal) and the seasonal products of the Parc Agrari, around which various gastronomic events are organized throughout the year such as the Carxofa festivities and the Fira Avícola Raça Prat at the end of the year.
