Can Tinturé presents the collection of Salvador Miguel display tiles, making it the world’s first monographic museum devoted to this kind of object. This collection unveils the importance of display tiles in terms of artistic expression and cultural heritage; these tiles were used for as wall facings in many homes in Barcelona, as well as Catalonia and the Iberian Peninsula from Medieval times until their manufacturing process became industrialised.
