Cornellà Farmer Market

The "Mercat de Pagès" (Farmer Market) is understood as a meeting place between the farmers of Parc Agrari del Baix Llobregat and consumers, and a promoter that is currently known as zero-mile product, a trend that is increasingly consolidated in Europe and that favors both to the consumer, for the quality of the food, as the local producer, who finds a sales channel for their production, and the environment, since it saves the emission of greenhouse gases derived from transport.

In Cornellà Farmer Market there are 8 local producers stops and another 3 exclusively local ones: the Cornelia beer; Tecsalsa, an employment center for people with some type of disability, who sell aromatic plants and accessories for home gardens; and Pastinaca, an association of producers and consumers of agricultural products.
