Ermita de Santa Maria de Sales - Museu de Viladecans

The chapel of Santa Maria de Salas is a Romanesque building of the XI-XII century. It is built on the structures of a Roman villa of the second century BC. The building, in medieval times, he hosted a small monastery of deodatas. Inside we find Gothic, Renaissance and modern time paintings.
After a process of restoration and consolidation by the Local Architectural Heritage Service of the Barcelona Provincial Council, the Hermitage Salas is part of the equipment of the Museum of Viladecans.

Currently, and until the interior restoration works and paintings were finished, the chapel hosts a semi-permanent exhibition called Salas: location, hermitage and history of Viladecans, which can be seen on guided tours.
